Taxonomy
Tumaroceras volkodavi was named by Andrianov (1985). Its type specimen is YaF SO AN 55/192 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 427-4/156, Tasynd'e Creek, Echiy River, Dulgalakh basin, which is in a Kungurian marine siltstone in the Orol Formation of the Russian Federation.
