Taxonomy
Gymnotoceras zvetkovi was named by Konstantinov (1991). Its type specimen is TsSGM 135/811 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsvetkov Cape, olenekense subzone, eastern Taimyr, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
