Taxonomy
Frechites lenaensis was named by Konstantinov (1991). Its type specimen is TsSGM 163/811 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taas-Krest Creek, nevadanus subzone, lower Lena River, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
