Taxonomy
Longobardites oleshkoi was named by Archipov (1974).

It was synonymized subjectively with Longobardites nevadanus by Arkadiev and Vavilov (1989); it was recombined as Intornites oleshkoi by Konstantinov (1991); it was recombined as Eonathorstites oleshkoi by Dagys and Konstantinov (1997).
