Girlasia superelegans
Taxonomy
Strophalosia (Girlasia) superelegans was named by de Gregorio (1930). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sosio Limestone near Palazzo Adriano (de Gregorio coll), which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Strophalosia (Girlasia).
It was recombined as Girlasia superelegans by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960).
