Taxonomy
Sentosia was named by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960) [Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-m C Tour-l Sepkoski's reference number: 25,708]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Sentosiini, Sentosiinae, Sentosiidae.

It was assigned to Sentosiini by Williams et al. (2000); and to Strophomenida by Sepkoski (2002).
