Taxonomy
Mesoleuctra brachypoda was named by Sinitshenkova (1987). Its type specimen is PIN 2031/22, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2031, Madygen, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
