Taxonomy
Karadromeus gobiensis was named by Ponomarenko (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 3568/1894, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Manlay, outcrop I/16 (PIN collection 3568), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Mogotuin Formation of Mongolia.
