Tillyardites bairdae

Archipanorpa bairdae was named by Tillyard (1922). Its type specimen is AM F.38268, a wing (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Belmont, Darling Street quarry (1920-1921 collection), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Tillyardites.

It was recombined as Parachorista bairdae by Tillyard (1926); it was recombined as Tillyardites bairdae by Handlirsch (1937) and Willmann (1978).
