Taxonomy
Rhipidoblattina magna was named by Zhang (1997). Its type specimen is NIGP 124652, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Zhixin Forest Farm, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Dalazi Formation of China.
