Euomphalus gradatus was named by Koken (1896). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Helicotoma gradata by Koken (1897); it was recombined as Palaeomphalus gradata by Koken and Perner (1925); it was synonymized subjectively with Palaeomphalus obtusangulus by Wagner (2023).
