Monticupes decorosus

Taxonomy
Tetraphalerus decorosus was named by Tan et al. (2012). Its type specimen is CNU-C-LB2010812, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

It was recombined as Monticupes decorosus by Kirejtshuk (2020).
