Paleokoenenia mordax
Taxonomy
Paleokoenenia mordax was named by Rowland and Sissom (1980). Its type specimen is SDSNH 16661, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bonner quarry, Onyx Marble, which is in a Pliocene cave travertine in the Onyx Marble Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Paleokoenenia.
