Onycholepisma arizonae
Taxonomy
Onycholepisma arizonae was named by Pierce (1951). Its type specimen is LACM fossil insect BQ28, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bonner quarry, Onyx Marble, which is in a Pliocene cave travertine in the Onyx Marble Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Onycholepisma.
