Disulcatella was named by Fu Lipu (1982) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov-l Sepkoski's reference number: 1264]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Mariannaellinae by Williams et al. (2002); and to Pentamerida by Sepkoski (2002).
