Permosialis frivola
Taxonomy
Sarbalopterodes frivolus was named by Storozhenko (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 2494/31, a forewing (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sasso Caldo site, Besano, Monte San Giorgio, which is in an Illyrian/Fassanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Besano Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Permosialis frivola by Rasnitsyn and Aristov (2013) and Aristov and Rasnitsyn (2023).
