Taxonomy
Kamopanorpa tshepanikhensis was named by Sukatsheva and Aristov (2013). Its type specimen is PIN 3286/76, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chepanikha, Rossokha River Valley, which is in an Urzhumian terrestrial horizon in the Russian Federation.
