Taxonomy
Terebratula flavescens was named by Lamarck (1819). It is extant. It is the type species of Magellania.

It was recombined as Magellania flavescens by Craig (1999).

Synonyms
  • Magellania iredalei was named by Allan (1939). It is extant.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Terebratula flavescens by Foster (1974).
