Taxonomy
Orthis anomioides was named by Scacchi and Philippi (1844). It is extant.

It was recombined as Platidia anomioides by Costa (1852), Popiel-Barczyk and Barczyk (1990), Bitner (1990), Bitner and Dulai (2004), Dulai (2011), Bitner et al. (2013), Bitner and Motchurova-Dekova (2016) and Bitner et al. (2023).
