Eneriblatta gallica was named by Laurentiaux (1949). Its type specimen is BRGG Paris 40, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Saint-Nicolas pit, Saint-Éloy-les-Mines, which is in a Stephanian B lacustrine deltaic shale in France.
