Taxonomy
Actinomylacris vicina was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 38750, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tremont, which is in a Stephanian terrestrial siliciclastic/coal in Pennsylvania.
It was recombined as Oxynoblatta vicina by Durden (1969).
