Tricheopteryx florissantensis

Taxonomy
Platyphylax (Eopteryx) florissantensis was named by Cockerell (1907). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant, Station 14, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Tricheopteryx.

It was recombined as Tricheopteryx florissantensis by Cockerell (1927).
