Taxonomy
Arcomytilus nudus was named by Repin (2013). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 837/70, a valve (left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Parvade Coal Field, Parvade Fm, which is in a Bajocian marine horizon in the Parvade Formation of Iran.
