Bibio giganteus

Taxonomy
Bibio giganteus was named by Unger (1841). Its type specimen is SLJG 77605, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
