Probolarina breviostris
Taxonomy
Probolarina breviostris was named by Cooper (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 551527, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Coast Construction Co. Quarry (Castle Hayne LS, N. Carolina), which is in a Bartonian marine grainstone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
