Kagapsychops araneus

Taxonomy
Kagapsychops aranea was named by Fujiyama (1978). Its type specimen is NSM-PA12004, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kaseki-Kabe, Kuwajima, Shiramine-mura, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Kuwajima Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Kagapsychops.

It was corrected as Kagapsychops araneus by Makarkin (2018).
