Apatosuchus orbitoangulatus
Taxonomy
Halticosaurus orbitoangulatus was named by Huene (1932). Its type specimen is SMNS 12353b, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burrer Quarry, Pfaffenhofen, which is in an Alaunian terrestrial sandstone/marl in the Löwenstein Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Apatosuchus orbitoangulatus by Sues and Schoch (2013).
