Mathilda pseudopalina was named by Grundel (2007). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bore Aulosen 10/59, depth 643.7-647.1 m, Saxony-Anhalt, which is in an Aalenian offshore siliciclastic in Germany.
