Glenocythere bahreinensis was named by Al-Abdul-Razzaq (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Magwa 8 well, 1295.4 m depth, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in the Ahmadi Formation of Kuwait.
