Taxonomy
Lambdarina was named by Brunton and Champion (1974) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u P Djhu Sepkoski's reference number: 871]. It is the type genus of Lambdarininae, Lambdarinidae.

It was assigned to Lambdarininae by Brunton and Champion (1974) and Williams et al. (2002); and to Rhynchonellida by Sepkoski (2002).
