Mongolarachne jurassica
Taxonomy
Nephila jurassica was named by Selden et al. (2011). Its type specimen is CNU-ARA-NN2010008, an exoskeleton (complete spider), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Mongolarachne.
It was recombined as Mongolarachne jurassica by Selden et al. (2013).
