Taxonomy
Protegulorhynchia bevanorum was named by Craig (1999). Its type specimen is WAM 6706, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Molecap Hill, which is in a Santonian offshore chalk in the Gingin Formation of Australia.
