Taxonomy
Tegulorhynchia hrodelberti was named by Craig (1999). Its type specimen is WAM 74.1300a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Spring Gully, Gingin, which is in a Santonian offshore chalk in the Gingin Formation of Australia.
