Palaeoscorpius devonicus
Taxonomy
Palaeoscorpius devonicus was named by Lehmann (1944). Its type specimen is FWU Egr 263, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bundenbach - Eschenbach, Germany, which is in an Emsian marine slate in the Hunsrueck Slate Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Palaeoscorpius.
