Taxonomy
Trigonotarbus arnoldi was named by Petrunkevitch (1955). Its type specimen is MPUM 31603, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Decazeville, which is in a Stephanian B terrestrial siliciclastic in France.
