Taxonomy
Lingulella agaue was named by Mergl and Kordule (2008). Its type specimen is PCZCU 1713a, a valve (Dorsal valve (internal and external moulds)), and it is a 3D body fossil.

Kordule 2008Moderately (tr.) convex thin-shelled Lingulella with small, narrow (tr.), ventral pseudointerarea with very small outer proparea, deep, gently expanding pedicle groove not raised above valve floor, straight posterolateral margins of ventral valve enclosing 80° to 85° apical angle, large, very low anteriorly deeply excavated dorsal pseudointerarea with median groove having anteriorly weakly convex edge, fine and long dorsal median ridge and an nearly smooth shell exterior with fine growth fila.
