Brontopodus oncalensis

Taxonomy
Brontopodus oncalensis was named by Meijide Fuentes et al. (2004). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is trackway (unnumbered), a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Revilleja tracksite, Soria, which is in a Berriasian/Berriasian fluvial sandstone in the Huérteles Formation of Spain.

Huella de la mano con forma subcircular y apariencia plantígrada, situada por fuera de la huella del pie y según la dirección del eje mayor del mismo.
Huella del pie redondeada, casi tan larga como ancha, plantígrada, con un talón marcado y con el eje mayor paralelo a la línea medía y más alejado de la misma que la huella de la mano.
