Taxonomy
Boubeithyris diploplicata was named by Owen (1988). Its type specimen is B95597, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warminster (Upper Greensand), which is in an Albian marine sandstone in the Upper Greensand Formation of the United Kingdom.
