Taxonomy
Terebratulina imbricata was named by Owen (1988). Its type specimen is BB82196, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Market Weighton, Humberside, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate chalk in the Lower Chalk Formation of the United Kingdom.
