Taxonomy
Etoblattina latebricola was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is Coll Lacoe 2091 ab, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is East Providence, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in Rhode Island.
It was recombined as Phyloblatta latebricola by Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922); it was considered a nomen dubium by Handlirsch (1906).
