Taxonomy
Paralenorthis luritjaorum was named by Jakobsen et al. (2014). Its type specimen is CPC41444, a valve (dorsal internal mould), and it is a mold. Its type locality is PC-4 Petermann Creek Section, which is in the Darriwilian of sandstone the Stairway Formation Australia.
