Petrablattina ovata
Taxonomy
Etoblattina ovata was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is USNM 38201, a thorax (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia.
It was recombined as Phyloblatta ovata by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922); it was recombined as Petrablattina ovata by Durden (1969).
