Scudderula arcta
Taxonomy
Etoblattina arcta was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is Coll Lacoe 2118a, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Cassville, which is in an Asselian terrestrial shale in the Cassville Shales Formation of West Virginia. It is the type species of Scudderula.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Handlirsch (1906); it was recombined as Scudderula arcta by Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
