Bayhaium merriamorum
Taxonomy
Bayhaium merriamorum was named by Langenheim and McCutcheon (1959). Its type specimen is UCMP 37683 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. B-2044, Gray Rocks, which is in a Wolfcampian shallow subtidal limestone in the McCloud Formation of California. It is the type species of Bayhaium.
