Taxonomy
Thaumatodryinus miocenicus was named by Olmi (1995). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, El Valle region (Olmi collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Yanigua Formation of the Dominican Republic.
