Metaxytherium albifontanum

Taxonomy
Metaxytherium albifontanum was named by Velez-Juarbe and Domning (2014). Its type specimen is UF 49051, a partial skeleton (skull and partial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White Springs 1A, marine, which is in a Chattian marine dolomite in the Parachucla Formation of Florida.
