It was recombined as Macrochilina rectinea by de Koninck (1881); it was recombined as Ianthinopsis rectilinea by Batten (1966); it was recombined as Macrochilina rectilinea by Amler and Heidelberger (2003); it was recombined as Strobeus rectilinea by Pan (1997) and Wagner (2023).
