Taxonomy
Shaanxioscarta juxta was named by Lin (1982). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hejiafang, Tongchuan County, which is in a Longobardian lacustrine mudstone in the Yanchang Formation of China. It is the type species of Shaanxioscarta.
