Yangtzeconus striatus
Taxonomy
Latouchella striata was named by Cobbold (1921). Its type specimen is R 2655 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ac5, Comley Quarry, which is in a Branchian carbonate limestone in the Lower Comley Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Tichkaella striata by Geyer (1986); it was recombined as Yangtzeconus striata by Parkhaev and Demidenko (2010); it was recombined as Yangtzeconus striatus by Wagner (2023).
