Phalacrocorax leptopus (cormorant)
Taxonomy
Phalacrocorax leptopus was named by Brodkorb (1961). Its type specimen is OMNH F-7994, a limb element (left proximal tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Upper Black Butte, which is in the Miocene of horizon the Drewsey Formation Oregon.
